What does “inspired by” mean?

It describes the scent direction used to help shoppers navigate the collection. Petals & Smoke is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the referenced fragrance houses.

Are these the same formulas as the fragrances they reference?

No. Petals & Smoke fragrances are independent products. References are provided only to communicate a familiar scent direction.

Do you use ready-made fragrance oils?

We formulate our own concentrates from individual aromatic materials and perfumery accords. We make trial blends, evaluate them on blotter and skin, and refine the composition. Read about our process.

How do I choose a scent?

Start with the inspiration line and the exact top, heart, and base notes on each product page. For help, email hello@petalsmoke.com with three fragrances you already wear, anything you dislike, and where you plan to wear the scent.

How long will a fragrance last?

Wear varies by fragrance, skin, climate, fabric, and application. We do not publish a universal wear-time promise.

Are your fragrances vegan or IFRA-compliant?

We do not publish blanket vegan, allergen, or compliance claims. If documentation matters for your order, contact support@petalsmoke.com before purchasing.

What if my bottle arrives damaged?
