Projection vs. Sillage: What They Mean and Why They Matter
Projection is how far a scent radiates from your skin. Sillage is the trail it leaves as you move. Both matter, but neither should be confused with quality.
Projection
A high-projection scent announces itself. A softer scent stays closer and can feel more intimate, polished, or skin-warm.
Sillage
Sillage is the movement of the fragrance around you. It depends on formula structure, application, fabric, temperature, and how your skin carries scent.
How to test it
Wear the fragrance through a real day and ask someone nearby how it reads after the opening settles. Discovery Sets are coming soon; for now, smaller bottles are the best testing path.
